Overview
Introduction
Therapists often report low confidence in working with clients’ dreams and nightmares. This short workshop will equip participants with practical skills and approaches to engage effectively with this material.
Course Content
This short one-day workshop will help therapists begin to work with dreams and nightmares in clinical practice. It will explore some foundational theories of dreams and their role in contemporary therapy. It will demonstrate and provide instruction on the Narrative Method for dream work and equip participants with a range of insights, tools and methods for working with clients’ dreams. This will be a highly interactive workshop with rich theoretical and skills-based learning. Live role-plays, clinical vignettes and specific help with improving participants’ approaches to working with dreams and nightmares will focus the day and inspire them to explore this rich avenue of therapeutic work.
Certification
The College will issue a certificate of attendance to those who take this workshop.
